For two years, the Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus has invited Avenues to share in the proceeds from its annual "Songs from the Heart" gala. For this year's June 3 event, the Chorus produced and showed this beautiful video (warning - you may need a hanky).

February 1-29: Wilde Roast Cafe Cares Menu
Wilde Roast Cafe is hosting a wonderful promotion for Avenues. During the entire month of February, a portion of proceeds from select menu items will be donated to Avenues. We are so pleased to be the first organization selected to benefit from this generous new program. Wilde Roast offers many delicious food and beverage items and has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. They are open daily from 7am to 11pm. Feb 18: Jungle Red Salon's 10th Annual Fundraiser Party
Jungle Red, a full service salon, spa and gallery located on the southern edge of downtown Minneapolis, is hosting its 10th annual "Treasures for Teens" fundraiser party for Avenues Saturday evening, February 18, 7-11pm. Refreshments, music, art and a silent auction ensure this will be a festive and fun evening - all for a great cause. More information is on the facebook event page. Join hundreds of citizens from around the state for a day of advocacy March 8, 2012 from 9am to 2pm. The Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless is hosting this event at the Minnesota State Capitol. Registration is free, but required. You may register here.

Avenues 2012 Expansion!
We are pleased to announce Avenues will be expanding its shelter in North Minneapolis. Thanks to a major commitment from the Otto Bremer Foundation, we will add 5 beds in early 2012. Click here to read the full details.
