Intake
During your intake, you will work with a Youth Counselor or Case Manager to do all of your initial paperwork. The youth counselor also will help you wash and dry all of your clothes before they are put away in your dresser and closet.
After that, you will be assigned to a case manager who will meet with you twice a week to help you identify and achieve your goals in the areas of employment, education, housing, medical and mental/emotional health. As a client of this program, you are required to follow your case plan and do all tasks necessary to meet your goals. Your case manager and the staff of Avenues cannot do this for you—it is in your power and your power only to achieve your goals.
