Emotional and Mental Health Counseling
In the first week of your stay at Avenues, you will meet with our Mental Health Counselor. Your discussions with the counselor are completely confidential. In this first meeting, you may discuss anything that concerns you, any fears you have…whatever is on your mind. She is here to support you.
You are not obligated to have additional meetings with the counselor. However, the counselor is here every week and you are encouraged to meet with her as many times as is helpful for you.
If additional mental health services are desired by you or if the counselor feels you would be well-served by additional services, she can make referrals and appointments for you.
