Avenues is active in Youth Moving Forward
Youthmovingforward is a coalition that works to end youth homelessness by acting as a voice for the homeless youth of Minnesota at the state capitol.
Avenues also actively collaborates with the other youth-serving agencies in the Twin Cities area through the Youth Services Network. YSN identifies opportunities to coordinate on broader community issues, address service gaps and develop staff linkages. The agencies cross-refer youth for services and co-case manage when appropriate.
Avenues’ governmental partners include:
Hennepin County and the City of Minneapolis
National Clearinghouse for Youth, a resource of the Family and Youth Services Bureau, an agency in the Administration for Children and Families, US Department of Heath and Human Services
